Oh, look! I'm not in a cave in Siberia! It's been a little while, which is ironic considering the name of my blog (yeah, yeah) but I had an idea for my favorite month and I figured you'd all be cool with it. For the season of glitter, snow, and gratitude, I wanted to do a little something different on my blog and broaden your horizons a little bit. As you know, since leaving the indy wrestling scene, I've been writing (or trying to) and meeting a lot of great, influential people along the way. One of these fine young people is multi- Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee Kristin Garth, a poet best known for her sonnets that range from pop-culture references, current events, social issues, and concocted characters. Ah, the things that shape us. Where would we be without them? I can tell you right now that one of the movies that single handedly helped shaped me into the creative, bold, and fierce person that I am today would probably shock you, or at least make you go..."Whaaa?!" At the very least, it would probably make you question my taste in horror movies. Maybe. But with the release of Universal's "Bride of Chucky," this made for once momentous shift in my personality traits, and boy, was I never the same.  I still have a huge movie theater issued poster "Bride of Chucky," for those of you who merely look at it as the fourth installment in the Child's Play franchise was much more than that to my pre-teen self.
